Since starting as a two-man operation in Sydney, in January 2000, Freightplus has developed into a close-knit international team of like-minded professionals; sharing the same vision and goals and a genuine enthusiasm for moving heavy machinery.

We have a pretty simple ethos;  do what we enjoy doing, do it well, do it with integrity and have fun doing it.

Most of our team have, during the course of long freight forwarding careers, shipped any number of different commodities in and out of every imaginable marketplace.  That's inevitable when over a third of the crew each boasts over 20 years industry experience.  Each contributes different skills and expertise and we unite these to provide well planned and superbly executed solutions in our chosen niche; moving heavy machinery.

For almost ten years, we've been moving big equipment around the world.  Every one of our experienced operators now handles nothing but heavy and challenging, over dimensional cargoes.  It's something we've become very good at and it's what we really enjoy doing, so it's a perfect fit.  Testament to our enjoyment of our work, and of the crew we are each a part of, is the fact Freightplus hasn't had to replace an employee for years - literally. 

The key to our excellent staff retention is employing only the best available people and taking good care of them.  Our individual skill sets vary but they compliment each other, fitting together well to form a comprehensive knowledge base.  And, although we're not all the same, we share common vision, mission and core values.
