Maersk Line today announced that it has been awarded a USD 126 Million contract to operate 5 roll on roll off and container vessels for the United States Navy's Military Sealift Command (MSC) and Logistics Program.
In a statement Maersk said: "If all options are exercised, the total contract value will reach approximately USD126 million, excluding reimbursable expenses and performance incentives."
The vessels will be assigned to three ship squadrons based in Mediterranean, Western Pacific or Indian Ocean.
